Charitable and Event Work

Terry has supported a number of Charities over the past few years including local and national Charities and in varying capacities. He has previously worked alongside other massage therapists at charitable sporting events such as, the Oxford Town and Gown (in aid of Muscular Dystrophy), the Cutteslowe Canter (in aid of Parkinson's Disease), the Chiltern Chase (in aid of local charities) and more recently the Reading Relay for Life (in aid of Cancer Research) and the Thames 10k (in aid of Breast Cancer).

He also continues to support a small and local charity family friends and as part of his support he has redesigned and built their new web site. To date all of Terry's charitable work has been provided on a voluntary basis and thus free of charge.

Terry helped support the (2010) runners in the Reading Half Marathon in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity by providing pre and post event sports massage for participants. He also supported the Goring 10k in March 2011 and provided pre and post event sports massage, with all proceeds going to a local school. Currently, Terry is planning to complete a solo record attempt and cover 630 miles on foot and in 14 days or less. The challenge is going to help raise money for Help for Heroes and Cancer Research (UK). The challenge is due to take place in July 2011 and further details can be found on the challenge website Ltwellness.com. If you have a suitable charitable event that could benefit from the services of a sports massage therapist, then please get in touch as Terry would like to hear from you.
